Ceylon Cinnamon quills are graded by diameter, colour, weight and surface blemishes. Golden Brew uses only Alba, the finest — where only the most slender, cleanest quills make the grade.

What is Alba grade?
Alba is the finest grade of Ceylon Cinnamon. Alba quills are no wider than 6 mm — the thinnest of any grade in the Ceylon Cinnamon GI standard — with no more than 10% surface blemishing. Golden Brew uses Alba-grade cinnamon only.
Does Golden Brew contain caffeine?
Yes. Golden Brew contains Ceylon Tea, which naturally contains caffeine. For a caffeine-free cup, try Alba Brew — pure Ceylon Cinnamon.
Can I add milk?
Yes. Golden Brew is lovely on its own or with a splash of milk for a smooth, warming cup.
What's the difference between Ceylon Cinnamon and regular cinnamon?
Ceylon Cinnamon (Cinnamomum verum), also called True Cinnamon, is native to Sri Lanka. It's lighter, sweeter and more delicate than cassia, the cinnamon most commonly sold in supermarkets.
Loose-leaf tin or tea bags?
Same Golden Brew blend in both. The 90g tin is loose leaf. The 10 introductory pyramid tea bags are an easy first taste — each bag makes up to two cups.
How do I brew Golden Brew?
Loose leaf: 1 teaspoon per 250ml cup of boiling water (100°C), steep 3–5 minutes, then strain. Tea bags: steep one bag in freshly boiled water for 3–5 minutes; one bag makes up to two cups. Milk optional.
