Philosophy, credentials and partners
Anyone can say premium. Here is ours, in writing.
We grow the cinnamon, keep the finest grade instead of exporting it, fly it here and pack it in Melbourne. Every claim on this site traces back to one of those four facts — and to the people and institutions who check our work.
What we will not do
The four decisions behind the price.
Premium is not a word we apply at the end. It is a set of choices made before the tree is even peeled, each of which costs us money and none of which a reseller can copy.
We keep the Alba grade
Alba is the finest grade of Ceylon Cinnamon — the thinnest, sweetest quills a tree gives. The industry sends it out as bulk export stock for someone else’s label. Ours goes into our own tins at the grade we picked it at.
101 years, four generations
One family plantation in southern Sri Lanka. Not a sourcing relationship, not a broker — our own land and our own peelers, for 101 years.
It flies. It never sails.
Every kilo is airfreighted from the estate and hand-packed in Melbourne, seven to ten days from farm to jar. Sea freight is cheaper and takes months. We do not use it.
Real ingredients only
No flavouring, no preservatives, no additives, no anti-caking agents. Cinnamon that reaches you this quickly still tastes of itself, so there is nothing to cover up.

We grow what we sell
The cinnamon in every tin comes off our own family plantation, hand-peeled and graded there. Not bought at market, not blended with another origin.
Certified organic and HACCP-certified
Our pyramid tea bags are packed in NeoSoilon® tea bag material (certified organic), HACCP-certified. A fine mesh, so the flake can open and the water can move through it.
Single origin, no blending
One estate, one grower, no blending with other origins. If you ask us where a tin came from, there is only one possible answer.
Who trusts us
Why an airline puts us on board.
A buyer who puts your product on their shelf, or their aircraft, is putting their own name behind it. These ones did.
SriLankan Airlines Duty Free
Oxi Brew is sold on board SriLankan Airlines. A national carrier chose a Ceylon Cinnamon brand to represent Ceylon Cinnamon, which is not a decision taken lightly.

Exhibiting with our own stand at Australia’s largest trade food show, in front of the buyers who stock the country.
